The Journey Begins
In April 2022, Roger Federer was still hoping for a comeback on the pro tour. After his knee injury, he made a special request to Wilson: he wanted a new racket that would help him against the powerful baseline players of the modern tour while supporting his versatile playing style.
Although his knee prevented a return to the tour, this led to a two-year journey involving numerous play tests, design meetings, and technical adjustments. The result is the Wilson RF Collection.

Development and Play Tests
From Zurich to New York and London, all the way to Vancouver and Los Angeles, the Wilson development team met with Roger Federer multiple times. Together, prototypes were tested, adjusted, and further developed.
Additionally, the RF Collection was tested with over 600 players worldwide. The direct ball feel, high maneuverability, control, and net play performance were particularly praised.

The RF 01 Pro
The RF 01 Pro is the fourth tennis racket developed specifically for Roger Federer.
During his career, Federer played with, among others, the Pro Staff 6.0 85, the Pro Staff Tour 90, and the Pro Staff RF97 Autograph. The RF 01 Pro consciously departs from the classic Pro Staff line and was developed for a faster, more versatile, and modern game.
